'Fontkey' from Fontware is a Keyboard Utility for use with EuroFont, our Euro Currency Symbol Solution, or indeed with any other font sets containing the Euro symbol.
It enables easy keyboard mapping of the Euro Symbol across a multiple Windows applications and users, as well as dealing with various language specific keyboard layouts.
There are two versions, one for Windows 95, NT and one for Windows 3.1x users.

'Fontkey' runs in the background and is visible as an icon in the system tray.
It is fully compatible with Windows 95, 98, NT4 and 3.1x and will all major Windows applications, including Microsoft Office, Lotus Smartsuite, Corel Office as well as leading DTP and graphic packages.

Using 'Fontkey'

When 'Fontkey' is active it's icon appears in blue and when inactive it appears gray.

Right-clicking on the 'Fontkey system tray icon calls the 'Fontkey' control menu.

Choose Define HotKey to call a screen where you can define the appropriate hot key.

ALTGR+4 the standard for : UK, Latvian and Irish keyboards.

ALTGR+5 the standard for : Danish, Estonian, Faeroes, Finnish, Greek Latin, Icelandic,

Norwegian, Portuguese, Spanish, US-International, Italian and Italian 142 keyboards.

ALTGR+E the standard for : Belgian (French), Belgian (Dutch), Dutch, French, Swiss (French),

Swiss (German), German, Greek, Croat, Slovenian, Serbian (Latin),

Serbian (Cyrillic), Macedonian (Cyrillic), Turkish (F440 and Q179), Lithuanian, Czech, Czech (101 and Programmers).

When 'FontKey' is active, users can put the Euro currency symbol into their documents by using the defined key combinations (e.g.[ALTGR]+[4]).

By default 'FontKey' assumes the Euro symbol is in ANSI position 0128 (0x80) and Unicode 20AC (Microsoft Standards) within the current font.

If you have other fonts that contain the Euro symbol in different character position then choose Define Character to call a screen where you can define an alternative position for the Euro symbol to be selected from, for that currency use of 'FontKey'.

In order to use 'FontKey' you must of course be using fonts which contain the Euro character.
